Not having set foot on Spanish soil, my experience of paella
so far hasn’t been that great. A market stall in northern France does shine
through in my memory; heaving with onlookers all ogling a steaming pan the
width of a double bed, we fought our way through the crowd for a family-size
portion of the stuff, studded with spindly langoustines, peppers and tomatoes. But
of course that was good; I was ten
for god’s sake and it was the holidays!

Christmas Eve Buffet!
It’s finally here! A day well spent in the kitchen preparing my favourite meal of the year. Tonight’s selection includes homemade prawn gyoza, parma ham, goat’s cheese and fig bundles, ham cooked in coca-cola with a treacle and brown sugar glaze, balsamic vinaigrette salad, crudités, potato salad and many more! Happy Christmas!

My French Holiday Diary- Day 1
Before the MA started, we all went on a fantabulous holiday to the South of France. As things are getting busy right now, I'm going to upload sections of my gastronomic diary. Highlights include LOTS of food, markets and Roger in a hammock.
